Leona von Leonberger is a beautiful 18 month old girl. Her paperwork from the shelter says a Tervurian mix; we thought she looked more like a Leonberger but a 50 pound version. Without a doubt everyone agrees that she is so adorable, even much cuter in person than her pictures show. You have to run your fingers through her curls to really get a sense of what we are talking about. She is mild in temperament and shares a run with a dog half her age, but he scares her. She is gentle and we think she would do well in almost any situation. We introduced her to a cat and she seemed gentle and sweet with the cat too. Leona is easy to walk and stays right by you side. We think she would make a great family dog.
